Grace's 4 Month Update

I can't believe my girl is already four months old, where has the time gone?! I feel like it was just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital and had no idea what were doing hahaha! Joe and I always joke that your TV comes with this huge manual and you get nothing when you have a child. I want to answer some questions I have been getting about our routine with Grace, what we're feeding her, and favorite/must have products.

At her four month check up she weighed 15.3lbs and was 25inches long. She has already cut two teeth (her bottoms) and there are definitely more following. The entire visit she just kept smiling and laughing at the doctor, she's the best!

SLEEP

At about 8 weeks old I wanted to get Grace on a schedule. I knew it would be good for her and make my day a little easier. I used TAKING CARA BABIES as a guideline for napping and night sleep. We used a sound machine when Grace naps and when she sleeps at night. We love THIS ONE because it's easy to take with you and runs on batteries. We also swaddle Grace, we have since day one and I truly believe that's why she is such a great sleeper. I swear by THIS ONE and are currently using THIS ONE to transition her out of it. It's been a little harder than I thought it would be, but she's getting the hang out it now! Grace does sleep in THIS for every nap and at night. I know some people don't agree with it, but it's what has worked for us. Right now she is doing two longer naps during the day and goes to bed between 7-8pm. Just recently she started waking up in the middle of the night and I think it's a combination of the 4 month sleep regression and teething.

BATH

Grace loves the bath and we're still using the same products from when we first brought her home. We use THIS tub, but it doesn't seem to be available anymore. What I love about it is the thermometer so there is no guessing whether the water is too hot or too cold. I found THIS tub that seems to be very similar to the one we have any it has great reviews! We put THIS in the tub to make it softer for Grace. It's very convenient if you have a baby that can't sit up on their own yet! For bathing her I love THIS bath sponge and THIS body wash, it smells so good!

For when Grace is all clean I love to wrap her up in THESE towels like a little burrito and I always moisturize her skin with THIS. It works so well and leaves her smelling soooo good!

FOOD

After her four month check up we go the okay from the doctor to start introducing foods! Grace drinks breast milk, I exclusively pump so I was excited to start exploring what she liked. We just started using THIS high chair and I am loving it. It was worth the money because it's easy to clean and the tray is magnetic! You only need one hand to take it off and put it on. It also doesn't take up a lot of space which is nice. We started with THIS oatmeal and she honestly wasn't the biggest fan. I'm going to try it again in a couple days since she seems to be understanding how to swallow now. She does love sweet potato, I used THIS brand.

I will feed grace food twice a day, depending on our schedule. Once after her morning bottle and once after her afternoon bottle. That's what seems to be working well for us. I try to do it when she's in a good mood so she learns  to enjoy it. I feed her with THESE spoons, can't beat the price and put her food into THESE bowls. The high chair does include a bowl and what's awesome about them is they are magnetic so once Grace gets old she won't be able to throw the bowl on the floor.

PLAYTIME

My favorite time with her is when we get to play and enjoy each other. I am so lucky to spend my days with her and she her growing and changing. She absolutely loves THIS jumper, watching her in it is hilarious and it's probably the number one product I get questions about. Every morning after she has her bottle she plays on THIS. It's currently on sale and so worth the money. What's great about it is it grows with your baby, which I'm all about! Less money you will have to spend in the long run. Grace has been sitting in THIS seat for a while now and it's perfect for when you want to get a few things done around the house. She is also super nosy and loves that it allows her to see everything going on!

We just started using THIS activity table and she is in awe! This is also another item that will grow with your baby. Once they can climb up and stand on their own you can convert it to an actual table.

I also linked below all of of everyday products that we are loving including my stroller and car seat!
