DIY Christmas Jars & Hot Cocoa Cart

I am not a DIYer at all. It's honestly almost comical how much I will try to avoid anything DIY, but when I came across an easy way to reuse used candles I had to try. My obsession with Bath and Body Works candles is at an unhealthy high, but who can beat their deals and those scents! While looking on Pintrest I came across Kristyn Cole's blog and figured it looked easy enough. Here is what you will need.

What you will need:
  • Used candle (mine is Bath & Body Works)
  • Knife
  • Hot glue gun
  • Wooden coasters from the Target $1 section
  • Christmas decor of your choice, I used little trees from the Target $1 section

Steps:
  1. Place candle in freezer for about an hour
  2. Take a knife and go around the edges of the wax to separate from jar
  3. Using hot water rinse out any remaining wax and remove candle label
  4. Carefully use the hot glue gun to glue on you wooden coaster to cover
  5. Place something heavy on the coaster to bond the two together
  6. Finally glue your decor of choice to wooden coaster

They are the perfect addition to my bar cart, which I try to decorate with every Holiday. This year I did a Hot Cocoa Bar and I'm really happy with the way it turned out!
